I started this project almost one month ago on May 16th when I put out a call on Instagram asking for window photos – inside looking out from people’s homes. I received over 100 photos including 1 photo from each 50 states. My original intention was to crowdsource these images and design them into a coloring page that encourages everyone to stay home, as much as possible, during the COVID-19 crisis. Living in Los Angeles, I felt fortunate that my city took quick policies like “shelter in place” and enforced wearing facial coverings in public.
